For future reference.  We are going to Hong Kong at the end of the trip.

First landing: Hong Kong

Leaving at after midnight on the 25th.  Arrive Hong Kong 6:00 am on the 26th.  15 1/5 hour trip.

Kuala Lumpur

First stop Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia

Much of Borneo is part of Indonesia.  We are not going there.  Malaysian Borneo surrounds the enlightened Nation of Brunei Abode of Peace.  We are not going there either.

The journey

We are travelling with a Canadian company, Elder Treks, that offers unusual trips.  (They go to Iran.) This is map lays out our trip.  We travel to two Malaysian provinces, Sarawak and Sabah.

Monkey business

And proboscis monkeys and hopefully lots of birds.

We are headed to Malaysian Borneo to see orangutans.
